Classically trained by France’s top chefs, Hubert Keller now owns Fleur de Lys San Francisco and Fleur by Hubert Keller in Las Vegas, both which feature Chef Keller’s contemporary French cooking accented with Mediterranean flavors. Attuned to America’s evolving tastes, he launched Burger Bar restaurants in Las Vegas, St Louis, and San Francisco.
He has won numerous awards including the James Beard Foundation’s “Best Chef: California” and has been elected to the Foundation’s Who’s Who in Food and Beverage. Chef Keller has cooked for several United States presidents and is known for his performance as a judge on Top Chef as well as for his grace-under-pressure performance as a contestant in the first season of Top Chef Masters on Bravo. His own cooking show for PBS, Secrets of a Chef, is now entering its fourth season. His most recent cookbook, Souvenirs, was released October 30, 2012.
