Hugh Garvey is Features Editor at Bon Appétit magazine, where he works on issue planning and story development. Before joining Bon Appétit, Hugh was Lifestyle and Culture Editor at the Industry Standard, U.S. Editor-In-Chief of the online magazine Boom, and a literary editor at the Village Voice. Hugh created and wrote "Liquid City", the Voice’s first column devoted to bars and cocktail culture. Hugh has written for numerous publications, including GQ, Cookie, T: The New York Times Style Magazine, Details, Travel and Leisure, Fortune, Wired, Vibe, Food Arts, and The Washington Post. He is co-founder of Gatsrokid.com, a website for foodie families, and co-author of The Gastrokid Cookbook: Feeding a Foodie Family in a Fast Food World.
